I would say it has a pink hue to the one I received that should have been gray. My rug in front has a small amount of pink so it works, but I wasn’t super impressed with the color not being gray like the picture. **Q: Do the 2 drawers need to be assembled as well?** A: I like Safavieh to include the table shown but also a round somewhat colonial period morrow and also a full size 11 x 15 wool carpet Persian style. Like all of these a lot. Now, to answer your question, NO, the 2 drawers are already assembled--at least that's how it was for me. Very easy to assemble: the top with drawers already complete and the shelf also. It comes with wooden legs to hold top to the shelf and then 4 small wooden feet to screw onto the bottom of the shelf. You just hand screw these leg parts to the rest.
