It is all metal and a little heavier than I anticipated, but not in a bad way, like sturdy solid way. In my situation, I have it stowed away so it is not out in the open. I found attaching it to a wall a little tricky based on the out of the way location. This was because the one inner panel has a sharp edge and pointy corner. So, I found it a little challenging to hold it, put a screw in the pre drilled hole and into the wall behind it. Otherwise, easy to set the passcode, easy to use and seems sturdy enough. Lots of key label things too.
