Packaging was very good with no damage. Installation was straightforward and took about 45 minutes (measure twice, cut once). The rubber strip marked 'D' on the instruction manual was too short with not enough material to fill in the ends. Filling in the gaps may reduce noise? I emailed the company for additional rubber strip but have not heard back (looks like they are headquartered in Turkey?). The plastic caps for the ends are not quite flush with the aluminum bar by a few millimeters (cosmetic). MOST IMPORTANT - my biggest concern before purchase was noise. This product is quiet! At highway speeds there is a soft hum, no vibration. Wind noise gets a bit louder when encountering crosswind. After driving for a little over 1,500 miles I am very satisfied. UPDATE: Company was very responsive and sent extra rubber strip. Install is now complete and product is upgraded to 5 stars Review: seems great quality for the price - roof racks have gone up in price, think I bought my rhino racks for $150 9 years ago, yakimas around that 20 years ago, and now these for about that today. Things I like they seem well built fir a fraction of the cost. Rating is based on the cheap price. What I didnt like, plastic holding the bars to the towers, rhino is metal, I think all the yakima and thules I installed for customers were metal. Time will tell if these are as secure. allen rench needed for taking on and off, all others Ive used have some sorts of wing nuts, they are bulky. Rhino looks better, look more aerodynamic. The part that sits on the car rails doesnt really make great contact, might make me nervous putting two kayaks on it. ## Features - Model-specific roof rack cross bars built for everyday cargo-carry a roof box, bikes or skis with a cleaner fit than universal budget bars. - Tested quality edge: City Crash tested to ISO/PAS 11154:2006-a clear advantage over untested low-cost bars when you want predictable, repeatable fit and load performance. - Quick setup: pre-assembled bar set with included mounting hardware and tools-less guesswork, faster install and easier seasonal swap. - Accessory-ready T-slot channel for common mounts (roof box, bike rack, ski carrier). Load rating up to 165 lb while driving-always follow your vehicle’s roof limit. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08Q49MRYM | | Best Sellers Rank | #5,268,126 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) #7,690 in Cargo Racks | | Brand | OMAC | | Brand Name | OMAC | | Color | Black | | Compatible with Vehicle Type | Passenger Car, SUV, Truck, Van | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 9 Reviews | | Included Components | 2 piece of Roof Racks, Installation Guide, Locks and Keys, Mounting Hardware | | Item Dimensions | 48 x 6 x 5 inches | | Item Type Name | Clamp, Clip-On | | Item Weight | 10.6 pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 48 x 6 x 5 inches | | Load Capacity | 165 pounds | | Manufacturer | OMAC | | Manufacturer Part Number | U017207 | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | No | | Material | Aluminium | | Material Type | Aluminium | | Model Number | Roof Racks for Flush-mounted Roof Rails | | Mounting Type | Roof Mount,Crossbar Mount | | Vehicle Service Type | Passenger Car, SUV, Truck, Van | ## Product Details - **Brand:** OMAC - **Color:** Black - **Is Foldable:** No - **Item Weight:** 10.6 Pounds - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 48 x 6 x 5 inches - **Load Capacity:** 165 Pounds - **Manufacturer:** OMAC - **Material:** Aluminium - **Mounting Type:** Roof Mount,Crossbar Mount - **Vehicle Service Type:** Passenger Car, SUV, Truck, Van ## Images ![OMAC Roof Rack Cross Bars for Volvo XC40 2019-2026 Lockable 165Lbs Aluminium Black 2Pcs fits Cargo Carriers Kayak Canoe Bike Snowboard - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71zdV35mspL.jpg) ![OMAC Roof Rack Cross Bars for Volvo XC40 2019-2026 Lockable 165Lbs Aluminium Black 2Pcs fits Cargo Carriers Kayak Canoe Bike Snowboard - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wsaUbE7WL.jpg) ![OMAC Roof Rack Cross Bars for Volvo XC40 2019-2026 Lockable 165Lbs Aluminium Black 2Pcs fits Cargo Carriers Kayak Canoe Bike Snowboard - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71q7B6ivq9L.jpg) ![OMAC Roof Rack Cross Bars for Volvo XC40 2019-2026 Lockable 165Lbs Aluminium Black 2Pcs fits Cargo Carriers Kayak Canoe Bike Snowboard - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71Q-KZJKwJL.jpg) ![OMAC Roof Rack Cross Bars for Volvo XC40 2019-2026 Lockable 165Lbs Aluminium Black 2Pcs fits Cargo Carriers Kayak Canoe Bike Snowboard - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/617wj05Uk3L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as advertised - quiet, secure *by B***I on May 11, 2021* Product arrived on time. It has enough height to clear the sunroof with it open as some other brands do not. Highly recommend this item. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/258170975-omac-roof-rack-cross-bars-for-volvo-xc40-2019-2026](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/258170975-omac-roof-rack-cross-bars-for-volvo-xc40-2019-2026) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
