It does, however, state that the ink is made with water-based pigments and is waterproof. **Q: What is the difference between the original version and the original new version?** A: I don't have any specification differences and I'm not aware of "the original version and the original new version." The only differences I'm aware of is the barrel grips and the colors of the inks. The top of the rubber grips are clear and the rubber grip itself is the color of the ink.
