Building Walls is an original acrylic painting on acid free sketchbook paper. Painting size: 20.32cm x 25.4cm (8" x 10") "Even in this world where you're getting everything you need and having this nice life, there's still loneliness and longing and disconnection." - Spike Jonze. Colorful lungs with flowers behind a black rib cage. I painted this in March of 2013 while sitting on the floor of my studio. It was created entirely with a palette knife late that night. Black, aqua, teal, jungle green, dark eggplant purple. Ships rolled into a heavy duty kraft tube.
