MSR Liquid Fuel Bottles are specifically designed for use with MSR liquid fuel stoves, but can also be used as extra fuel canisters for motorcycles, scooters, and chainsaws, as well as storing spare gas for disaster preparedness. The child-resistant, push-and-twist bottle caps are leakproof and accept threads on all MSR liquid fuel stove pumps. Each bottle is made from a single piece of impact extruded aluminum to prevent leaks, minimize the degradation of fuel, and handle the pressurization required to efficiently operate MSR liquid fuel stoves. MSR Liquid Fuel Bottles make suitable gas canisters for any fuel that works with an MSR stove, including white gas, kerosene, diesel, automobile gas, mineral spirits, and aviation gas (jet fuel). Available in three sizes: 11-ounce bottle weighs 0.1 pounds and measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 7 inches, 20-ounce bottle weighs 0.25 pounds and measures 2.75 x 2.75 x 9.5 inches, 30-ounce bottle weighs 0.35 pounds and measures 3.5 x 3.5 x 11 inches. **Q: Is this product allowed for carry on luggage on a plane?**
A: Carried in my checked luggage an emptied and well vented bottle (along with my new MSR Dragonfly) from Vancouver to Tel Aviv with a stop at Heathrow, without any noticable problem. Carrying fuel is prohibited.

**Q: How many boils can you get out of a 11 oz**
A: Jon, I have an 11oz. MSR fuel Bottle & wisperlite intl. multi fuel stove, 1993 model. On the Appalachian trail, October in NY.. I boiled water for coffee & 2 packs of oatmeal in the morning and soup each daily for 3 days. Approximately 7min per boil. I burned roughly 4-5 oz of fuel the whole time. I had a Trek 1400ml pot and boiled enough water selectively for each day. 24oz at breakfast and maybe 16oz at dinner. hope this helps.

**Q: Does elevation effect pressure? Bottles leaked everywhere. Discovered all poured out when we arrived at our destination.**
A: Elementary...higher the elevation the less atmospheric pressure. These bottles are safe from those changes when sealed properly. Helitack crews (wildland fire fighters) transport chainsaw fuel in this type of bottle with safe results, no accidents. You must have not sealed the bottles completely or damaged them some how, sounds like human error.
