I use them to keep warm on a chilly night (35-40 degrees). I chose to go with the 250 merino. It arrived on time & I was thrilled to give it a try at an outdoor event I went to recently.First of all the color was a light grey - so it was the same color as was shown when ordering. I ordered the XL as most of the time this size fits me best - but this time it was 1 size to large. However, this was not an issue...since I really want to test it out compared to major hunting brands I normally wear.As I stated, it was 1 size to large, but better than to tight or small & uncomfortable. I wore it to an outdoor event I attended in the dessert (temp was 35-40 degrees) and wore a normal shirt over it, and carried a jacket - in case I need it, or if the wind picked up. It kept me comfortable, while still being light enough not to notice and breathable. I still felt the chill in the air but again this wasn't an issue. Had the temperature dropped and more needed I would have layered accordingly or worn the jacket.It meets my expectations. The bonus is they also sent a pair of their socks - to which is used also this same night. I layer accordingly - I wore the merino socks & then an iver pair (knowing if your feet get cold the body follows).I can recommend this product & will be ordering a 2nd - but in Large to compare sizes. Then once I determine the best size for me, I will grab a couple more. I am considering giving as a gift to some friends who also do outdoor activities and see what they think. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks good but doesn't last long *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2022* First, I want you to know that this sweater does not include the model's haircut in any way. That needs to be purchased separately and is only available in the wilds of Croatia where there are no mirrors or sober barbers. The sweater feels great but is a bit thing and wears out into little tatters and small holes after a rigorous wash on stone at the river. I recommend a hand wash only in a proper sink indoors and to air dry next to your spanks and other delicate matters. Merino wool is the future of the space program so wear this proudly. I even remembered thinking to myself that I didn't remember ordering socks as well. I put them in my husband's drawer and I guess he wore them today because he randomly said tonight,"These socks are great!". I asked to see what they looked like and it was the pair that came with the base layer shirt. The base layer doesn't feel scratchy like some merino wool clothing does. It seems to fit true to form.
