I wanted something that was all stainless for health reasons. I measured the opening of my insulated mug to be sure it would fit, allow for movement of the water around the infuser and it had silicone handles so it would not be too hot to remove from the mug. In addition, the mesh of the infuser was very fine. When I received the infuser all of these features were as noted in the description. It is exactly what I wanted and I searched for quite some time. This was the only tea infuser that offered all the features I wanted.
