No! It's a user error and you have to take extra care with synthetic hair. When you open it I recommend combing through it. Adding a little hair wax through to keep the hairs in place. After securing it to my head I use hair spray and comb through while it dries.Does it shed ?Yes it's fake hair. Get a big tooth comb and comb GENTLY from bottom to top. This is is a $13 product.
