When you turn it up past 12 it starts to sound electronic. **Q: Can one unit be used for 2 vocalists if Daisy chained?** A: You may want to try an effects loop, like through an aux send/return that you can put on each channel through the mixer. **Q: There are many of these ( C1, D1, etc) in the same price range. What's the best way to go for $80-100 for vocals?** A: The R1 is where I would start. it's a fantastic reverb pedal. I also own the C1 which is Auto-tune, and the D1 which i use to "double" live vocals for a fuller sound. they all work great but reverb or delay is a must for vocal effects.
