I was not disappointed with these boots, they are comfortable, warm and seem really well made. I do wish they had half sizes, since I'm a size 8.5 but based on the customer reviews, I sized up to a nine. These boots to fit well, especially if I've got thicker socks on, but they are a smidge big, which does mean I've gotta watch myself a little so I don't trip. Hasn't been an issue, and I wear a wide based walking shoe, so I'm pretty used to having a larger shoe base. I do think a size 8 would have been too tight. I got some waterproofing spray to treat these, since there is a good likelihood that I'll be wearing them in the snow or wet. They took the spray very well and it didn't change the color. I love these things I wear them all winter in all weather. I live in New England and we were slammed with snow (no I did not wear these to shovel) this season and the boots have no water marks or stains, I actually spilt blueberry on the boot yesterday and wiped it off with a sanitizer wipe and there is no stain or anything.
