I originally bout a size XS going by the measurements in the size chart and ended up exchanging them for a S because they were too snug around the thighs ( average athletic build) to give me the flexibility when completing transfers with my patients. The fabric is sturdy and has held up well, however not as flexible as I expected/ desired in a scrub pant. I constantly find myself adjusting them to give me the flexibility to squat and transfer my patients buts still feel restricted. With a pen and cell phone in the pocket they get snugger on my leg. I really hoped to like these more but I'll stick with my wonder wink joggers in the future for a better fit with more room to move around.6/26/20 update : after having them for a few months and getting some washes in they have loosened up a bit, more flexible and squatting friendly. I find them a lot more comfortable now and am really enjoying them! GA always runs a bit small in my opinion, but since I already knew that I bought the XXL. They fit like a dream. My favorite thing about jogger pants is that my shortness matters none and no hemming needed. These are perfect level of stylish enough to not look medical scrubs on first pass but maintaining the functionality of being scrubs.
