I used these for a growing season now and they did great. I did grew potatoes in two and tomatoes in other. All did well. I did not really use the window feature , I just didn't. Water will seep through the material ,so no issue of drowning with normal watering. So, be aware they may dry out faster than you expect. Listed sizing was spot on and the handles did not give me any issue when I moved a couple of filled bags.
