Review: Great quality - It’s a great quality olive oil! It actually has a really good taste, not like a lot of other tasteless olive oils on the market. It comes in a metal bottle, that are beautiful. Wish it was a little cheaper but the price is worth the quality to me.
Review: NOT bitter and incredibly smooth. - I’ve been increasingly disappointed in olive oil store brands for years, with each iteration of my purchases tasting more like ear wax than oil. It’s expensive, no matter the quality. It has an annoyingly “vast” selection with no indication of taste. And the US stores constantly proclaim 100% Italian olives with increasing suspicion that the olives never graduated high school. Ear wax. They all taste like ear wax. Enter this brand. Is it Italian? I don’t know. Probably. Is it olives? Likely. Does it taste like ear wax? Not at ALL. It is smooth and delicious. Not bitter. Peppery. Buttery. A little “lemony.” Is it a neutral taste? No. It still tastes like olive oil, but less than the depths of hell. I don’t know if it’s the best, but I do know it’s better than 100% of the store brands I’ve tried so far in the US. It’s also the same price as all the other horrible oils I’ve tried. Risk the purchase. Heck, buy the small one to try first. That’s what I just did, and I can tell you 100% that this is the first time I DRANK a teaspoon and don’t want to vomit. I’ve had good olive oil before in restaurants or as bread dippers stuffed with herbs and salt. The idea of an olive oil drizzle was a REVOLTING concept. Now I get it. Now I understand why you don’t need to mix olive oil with balsamic to make it palatable. And, that’s enough for me. I’ll be buying this continually, forever. No more experimentation with oils for me, honestly. This is the FIRST time olive oil hasn’t made my entire body pucker. Good stuff.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Love the oil, but don't like how it makes a mess of the can when it pours. Is there a technique to avoid a mess on the can after use?**
A: When you buy a tin of olive oil you need to make a hole with a nail at the other opposite end of the opening of the spigot. This helps the breathing of the can when pouring in to an olive oil canister. make sure to cover the nail hole with the same nail as to not permit any critters to fall in. Your problems will be solved.

**Q: I see complaints about pouring, how does everyone else do it who love this oil?**
A: My parents always had olive oil in a can like this. They pierced the top on diagonal corners by slightly hammering a knife point, making two small holes, one for pouring and one for venting. Always works great!

**Q: Is the description wrong? I see 101 oz tin in the title and 3 oz net of oil in the description. How much olive oil is in this tin?**
A: Jo, it's 101 oz, 3 liters (not oz as in the description). The company should correct that because observant people like you may not buy when they see that.

**Q: I see complaints about pouring, how does everyone else do it who love this oil?**
A: It's practically impossible to pour the oil from the spout without dribbling it off the corner of the can. I cut the lid off the can with one of those can openers that breaks the seal on the edge and pour it into 1 liter glass olive oil bottles saved from other brands. No metal shards to fall into your olive oil. No sharp edges either, so you can reuse the tin as a container or vase. Just be sure to wash your bottles before you reuse them. I dry mine in the toaster oven to speed things up a bit.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I agree with Pasta Grammar
*by G***I on June 9, 2026*

Took the advice of Pasta Grammar on youtube who gave this top place in olive oil. It is very good. The flavor of the fruit is the first note. It is the qualty you would put on a salad or something like avacado toast. Something where the oil is a star and not just lurking in the background.
