Ich habe eine schmale Schwabelwanne an meinem Boot, also nicht viel Platz für bewegliche Hydraulikschläuche. Darum diese Wahl, da ja der Hydralikzylinder am Motorbrett sich nicht, wie die meisten anderen Lenkungen bewegt, sondern ähnlich wie bei einer mechanischen Lenkung den Außenbordmotor lenkt. Abgesehen davon sind mir nicht bewegte Drukschläuche sowiso sympathischer und langlebiger. Leider ist keine Info über die zusätzlich notwendige Kippstabilisierung des Steuerzylinders vorhanden. Diese habe ich aber aus Aluprofielen selber erstellt. Ich betreibe mit dieser Lenkung einen 90 PS starken Merkuri 4T Außenborder ohne Probleme. Ein Quantensprung gegenüber der alten mechanischen Seilzuglenkung an Qualität, Leichtgängikeit, Spielfreiheit und Laufstabilität. Man kann das Lekrad in jeder Lenkstellung auslassen, der Motor kann die Lenkrichtung nich beeinflussen.
