**Q: Is this resitant to fuel? I need it to repair a gromet on fil tube gas tank**
A: In my case it did not work with alcohol based fuel.

**Q: Can I use this to stick a metal gasket to an intake manifold?**
A: Metal gaskets are a one use crush type seal.
I would not recommend using permatex #1
Hard setting. You will have an impossible job
Removing the intake without damaging it if
In the future you need to remove it. And
Most likely it will have a vacuum leak!

**Q: any reason it won't work on flange of swimming pool pump?**
A: It may; but containing solvents not designed
for swimming in, I personally would choose
Marine silicone products!

**Q: would this work in water?**
A: No. It need dry air to setup
