The first sign of problems was when it locked the doors with the keys(and fob) in the car. This happened the second day. After that I noticed the LED on the remote wasn’t blinking when the remote was within the PKE area so I bought new batteries for the remote. I took the battery cover off and turned the remote upside down to allow the batteries to fall out. Unfortunately the micro switch for the unlock button also fell out. It took me 30 minutes of searching with a magnet to find it in my parking. lot. I was able to find it and set it back in its slot on the board. My guess is the remote is the cause of the PKE issue and it might work better if they actually used solder to connect the components to the circuit board.If you have not purchased this product do yourself a favor and spend $25 dollars more and buy a better product.
