This board was perfect! The board is beautifully made. The metal pieces are really pretty. The only downside is the cards that came with it were super slippery so they were hard to use, but we had an old deck that we were able to swap out. I didn't even know the cars came with it so it didn't bother me at all. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful *by C***N on February 5, 2025* This was a Christmas gift and my son-in-law was delighted with it. Well constructed pegs fitted in the hole and showed up nicely against the wood. It is as shown I give it a five star. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Decently Good *by L***I on April 17, 2024* Beautiful looking board that plays well.The sliding doors that hold the cards works without issue. Magnetized and has never opened on its own.A couple of minor issues though: I had to drill 3 holes into this board. 2 of the 3 were from misalignment.The holes under the maple veneer were not aligned and this caused the peg to stand higher than it should have. Not only higher but not held firmly either. It wiggled around and sat at an angle when your fingers were off of it.A quick light drilling and that was the end of that. If you don't have a handy man or your husband (me) doesn't do drills, I'm not sure what you will do about this issue. I can only assume it'll be present on the board you buy too.The 3rd issue was just me being picky. I've never played on a board where you couldn't move your peg to the last winning hole. This would be the single hole, or, pegging 121 where the winner places the peg in when the game is won.It just didn't feel right to me so...I drilled a hole! Ha! Now the board is made the way it should have been made! C'mon people... have a pegging hole for the winner!I also took some Sharpie pens and added a bit of color to the maple wood just to personalize it.Our local school colors are black and orange so I added those colors to the start/finish areas on the board and where the skunks are at. Added a different color every 5 pegs.Only have 1 area where a small section of the trim under the sliding doors has come unglued. Not that big of a deal. A small drop off Elmer's will rectify that issue.My wife and I went with the maple on the red wood due to our eyes aren't what they used to be and we figured we'd see the holes better and I am thankful we did.The red wood is quite dark and I think it might have been an issue. Maybe not, but that's why we did.The board is a pleasure to play on and has received compliments every where we take it.Is it worth the money? I think it's a bit on the pricey side, but just a bit.
