This was the piece that started my obsession Miabella bracelets. I've literally been wearing it for almost 2 years straight and it hasn't even begun to tarnish! I do try to take it off when I shower but I don't always. I've never worn it in the pool or ocean though so I can't speak on whether that would cause it to turn more quickly. But I cannot recommend this piece enough! Because it's plated with 18k, it does start out alittle yellow (compared to my 14k jewelry) but overtime it's become the most perfect color and matches all my solid gold pieces. So if it's alittle yellow for your liking, just give it alittle time. Because it's a bracelet and not a necklace or ring that's exposed to more sweat, handwashing, perfume etc, that may be why it's lasted so long.
