It works as advertised and has water directing ridges inside. It holds a decent amount of water. I do like it’s neutral appearance and it is easy to handle. My only complaint is the rubber piece that comes in to contact with my toddlers head is sort of flimsy feeling. The bumper is easily pushed around and I feel like this opens up the harder edge to press against her. My daughter personally doesn’t like this one over the whale shaped one we have.
