Bottomline: these ARE helping. I can only wear them for an hour or two, while laying in bed at night. But they are gentle, no hard/rough edges to cause chafing. It seems to help. It did a good job separating my toes and straightening them comfortably. I'm developing hammer toes, so wanted to try to stop the process, if possible. The separator is kind of sticky. It fits over my toes easily and is soft. It does make my foot wider, so I had to find some big, loose socks to put over my feet, because it's winter and my toes were getting cold. I wore it while watching TV and while sleeping.
