Review: This is the exact part I needed to replace the tank seals on my Kohler toilet. After reading the various reviews, I was concerned that the round sealing washer would not be in my kit although it does show in the diagram photo of parts included in the kit. However, when the kit arrived, it included everything I needed: fill valve with seal, the triangular seal, all bolts, washers, and fasteners, as well as the round large washer and the screw on attached ring. Perfect. The hardest part of the job was unscrewing the old attachment ring as the original plumber installing this toilet had tightened it very firmly. I wound up pulling the old triangular ring off (somewhat in pieces) with the attachment ring still on. Then I was able to more easily access the attachment ring and unscrew it (it came off without too much effort...actually without a tool just by hand.... once the black rubber triangular seal was gone). I was able to install the new black triangular seal, the large washer and then the new locking ring without any problems. I was also able to get the new locking ring snug without too much tightening using a large pair of channel locks. I made sure it was tight, not leaking, but did not make it so tight that it would be impossible to remove if I needed to (aka the previous one). It's been 5 days now and absolutely no leaks, working perfectly. So, this kit does indeed come with everything showing in the diagram photo...everything you need to change out the filler and tank seals. Review: Don't test out the tank bolts into the gasket sleeves before installing to tank. Very difficult to pull bolts out of female sleeve. Seems larger than 2". Cant really measure since installed. Here is link to picture https://www.plumbingsupply.com/images/kohler-flush-valve-85406.jpg . THis is the only one that fits Kohler Highline toilets and worth the price. Key Is triangular gasket at bottom that only comes with Kolher **Q: will this fit a 4609 model toilet?** A: Yes, but if your ballcock is not adjustable style water will over flow the tube. If it is adjustable just change water level to the mark on the tube, or about 3/4 inch below the top of the tube. This item fits most all Kohler tanks with the three bolt configuration. **Q: I installed this but still have a slow leak from tank into the bowl. Is the flapper opening the only place water can flow from tank to bowl?** A: make sure you have the nut tight enough or not over tigthen. Make sure the flapper is coming all the down to seal. Make sure you don't have a cracks . **Q: Do I have to buy the fill valve too?** A: If you're already buying the flush valve and the three bolt tank seal, you might as well replace the fill valve also.
