**Q: Any idea if these work well in 6 inch pots indoors on windowsill, I grow hot peppers in the windows nyc apt. Thanks Al**
A: Memories (of windowsill pots) are made of this; I'm a NYC girl. The spikes are easy to sink into moist soil, and they're approximately 1-3/4" long.  I think they really make a difference - and the fact that they're organic is a big plus!  I hope I'm being helpful.

**Q: Would one of these be safe to use in a 4 inch pot?**
A: Says on the package;
    Container diameter:
        4in gets 1 spike 
        8in gets 2 spikes
        12in gets 4 spikes

So yes. A 4in container will be fine
