This was a new brand for me so I thought I would roll the dice and check out what Calister has to offer. First, the packaging was quite impressive with a beautiful box, warranty card and such. This would make a great gift. Some boxes I put away in the closet but this one is staying out. The watch itself is not to heavy with the band bring s very soft supple premium leather. The clasp is very functional and easy to adjust. The crystal is beautiful sapphire with very easy to read numbers and date. Setting the time and date were not complicated at all. I do wish it a slightly higher water resistance rating but it is to be expected for this style. I am very pleased with Calister and will be checking out additional watches from them in the future. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Watch for the Price!! *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2016* Let me start out with saying that I do not know a lot about watches but my best friend is quite the collector so I consulted him before making this purchase. I also did extensive research on brand as well since I had never heard of them before. You can read about the company on Calister's website and also "Watch Report" did a nice extensive review on this watch. Unfortunately I can post the links due to Amazon's review guidelines but it is quite easy to find through Google. The Bauhaus style watches sometimes get a bad rep for being "too boring" but I feel as if Calister did a good job adding a modern flare to this one. It is classy enough that I would wear it with a nice suit but also modern enough that I would wear it with jeans and a nice quarter zip collared shirt. This watch has the movement of very high end watches but found a way to cut the overall cost by making it battery powered. The battery that comes with it has a five year guarantee so I am not too worried that this model is not automatic movement. The watchband is nice leather and easily fits around my wrist, despite me having small wrists. "Watch Reports" review estimated that the band will fit wrists up to about eight inches in diameter. I used to own a Timex until it broke so buying this watch was most certainly an upgrade and a half. The one thing that I hated with my old watch is that you could hear the the ticking from a mile away. I had to sleep in a different room than my watch or else the ticking would keep me up. With this watch, the ticking is so quiet, I am able to sleep soundly with the watch right next to me on my night stand. The case that the watch came is in very nice and is definitely one that I will display my watch in when I am not wearing it. It also came with a high quality cleaning cloth and an international warranty card. Overall I absolutely love this watch and would recommend it to anyone willing to give Calister watches a try. I learned a lot about watches through this buying process and would consider this watch very good quality.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest, unbiased review in order to give you an informed purchase. It has easy to see, nice and simple Arabic numerals. It would match a casual outfit or a light colored suit.Strap: I’d never used a flip clasp before so it took me some time to get used to it. I liked it but you might prefer classical buckle. Leather is a bit stiff at first but it gets softer and takes the shape of your wrist by use.Durability: Most important part of a watch is its durability. Everything, from the chrome plating to the piece of microfiber cleaning cloth looks good quality. But it is not easy to say anything about how long it will last after only a couple of weeks.Weight: My kitchen scale shows it 46 grams, 4 grams lighter than my basis peak. Considering its size, it is a lightweight watch.It looks good; it feels light. It has a very soft ticking sound.
