The debris collects in a removable filter bag that comes out of the transparent twist-top chamber. The vacuum's aluminum pole has 4 extensions and can reach a length of 7 feet 3 inches. I used it on my 20’x12’ above ground pool with a sand filter and got everything out the bottom of my pool including fine dirt, sand and dead algae. Comes with all necessary adapters for different applications. Works great and does not hurt wallet . There still was little to no suction once the hoses were taped together. They didn't fit inside each other; there was a very small groove and it was useless.
