Review: Works perfectly, smells great, feels good. - I used this product to cover up a few straggly gray hairs I’ve been developing (super annoying), and I didn’t want to pay >$100 for a professional job when it was just the roots that were bugging me out. So I decided to try this out. And I love it! The color and activator come in 2 separate plastic tubes that you combine together in a plastic tray (provided) to form the color mixture. You only use what you need, which means that if you’re just touching up roots you can easily save the rest for later use, which is pretty cool, and a great value. The kit also comes w/ a comb (to help separate your hair into layers for the coloring process), a plastic cover (so you don’t stain your clothes or towels), and 2 trial sets of shampoo and conditioner, which was a really nice touch. I used Natural Brown, which — as mentioned in some other reviews — was actually a bit darker than I expected, but still looked natural and blended well w/ my natural hair color (I’m Asian) and balyage coloring. I loved that there was no chemical scent to the product at all. It also rinsed out nicely and didn’t leave me w/ that pasty-gritty build-up I’ve had w/ other home coloring kits, which can be hard to wash out. The shampoo and conditioner samples that were included smelled amazing when I was rinsing and really did a great job keeping my hair smooth and soft. Yes, my hair *actually* felt healthier after using this product!! Amazing. Ultimately, I got good coverage, an even natural color, it was easy to do, and I feel confident that I did’t just riddle my already-sensitive hair to an excess of heinous chemicals. Easy process and great experience overall.
Review: I liked it...worth a try if you want brown hair! - Before ordering I looked all over the internet for photos or a video of this product being applied so that I could understand it a bit better. There really wasn't much out there. I'm in my mid-40's, of Germanic origin and have been coloring my hair for about 25 years. It's starting to thin and I have lately noticed scalp and skin reactions to drugstore hair dye. Refusing to go grey gracefully (just cannot do it) I briefly considered henna and walnut dye before finding this product. I ordered this with hopes that it would cover my grey (10-20%) without wrecking my hair or giving me hives and restoring me to my natural base color ... in the range of a 5/6. Happy to report zero chemical reactions and hair feels healthy. For the record, the instructions do come in English. I used a professional brush and bowl to apply 1/2 of the entire box of pudding like product to unwashed and completely dry hair, roots first (virgin hair), let that process for 10 min and then applied the remaining product thru the mid shaft and ends of my hair for additional 10 min. The color came out even...so that's good....but it is slightly darker overall than I would prefer. The color is definitely a warm brown. If you don't like red-tones...steer clear. If I were to do it all over again, I would keep the 10 min processing time for my roots and reduce the processing time to 5 min (or less?) on the rest of the hair. I am including photos so you can see before/during/after. The product mixed up easily. It initially smelled like a barnyard, but that dissipated within 5 min or so. I thought it smelled like ivory soap while it was processing. I don't notice any residual smell now that my color is complete/dried. I didn't feel like the process was all that different from any other box color I have used. My hair did feel a little dry after washing the product out. I applied a heavy duty conditioning mask afterward and then followed up with a leave in treatment before drying/styling. Hope this helps!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I received this product with instruction booklet only in chinese or korean, . please tell me how i can get instructions in english?**
A: As with all hair dyes, they suggest you do a test patch, check it twice in 30 minutes and then wait 48 hours in case of abnormalities. You mix equal portions of #1 (colorant) & #2 (developer) and mix well. Don't mix up the tube caps due to safety. Comb out tangles. Wear the plastic gloves & apply mixture of solution evenly from root to tip in the order of back hair, side hair, front hair. Apply thoroughly using a comb and use sufficient amount on grey areas. Wait 15 minutes after application and extend a few minutes longer for thick hair or mostly grey. Shampoo and rinse until water runs clear. Dry hair thoroughly to prevent any bleed on to clothing or bedding. Rinse out the mixing tray for use again. My Comments: If you have short short hair, you can easily get 3 uses out of the tubes. The color fades over time so if you are not making a drastic change in color, you might not need to do a root touch up. I have severe allergies to PPD. They say that this product does not contain it, but I have had burns on my scalp and ears and tremendous itching. I even lost my voice for several days due to my throat closing up. I tried one more time and took steroids (prednisone) prior to coloring, put a steroid cream on my head 2 days prior, and loaded up on Allegra (not Benadryl). I also heavily coated my ears, neck & hairline and tried to minimize the contact with my scalp. It worked...I just was itchy for a week. Amazing what women will do to get rid of the grey !!! Good Luck.

**Q: Could I please get a full list of ingredients?**
A: Ingredients;Aretmisia Vulgaris Extract, Cnidium Officinale Root Extract, Di-Water, Cetearyl Alcohol, Steartrimonium Chloride, Oleyl Alcohol, Monoethanolamine(90%), Ceteth-20, Panax Ginsenf Root Extract, Ceteth-15, Cocamide DEA, Toluene-2, 5-diamine Sufate, Polyoxyethylene Oleyther phosphate, Behenyl Alcohol Thiogydolate, Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hydrolyzed Keratin, Fragrance, p-Aminophenol, Disodium EDTA, p-Amino-o-Cresol, Chrysanthellum Indicum Extract, Sodium Ascorbate, Threonine, m-Aminophenol, o-AminophenolDeveloper;Di-Water, Hydrogen peroxide Solution(35%), Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteth-20, Stearyl Stearate, Phosphoric Acid, Disodium Phosphate.

**Q: Does this product contain any alcohols?**
A: I don’t think so.

**Q: Has anyone use this product to change your previous hair color? I have been coloring my gray black, but I want to go brown.**
A: It may work for you. Maybe try making a few streaks of the new color underneath the hair woth your current color, to experiment. At these low prices, I would try three of the lighter browns, because lots of reviewers have said dark drown maybas well be black.

I left a review of my experience, with lots of detail. But the short answer is that Light Brown colored my grey and naturally dark brown roots, to th same light auburn color at first. After it dried, I saw that it blended imperceptably into the rest of my hair, which had been professionally lightened to a medium brown base and blonde highlights. Black can be hard to reverse. Most people will say you need to strip it and start over with straw! Figure you can always go to a shop if you don’t like the results from this product. Yeah, the more I think about it, I would call a friend and use 2 or 3 lighter shades to see if you can turn a bunch of your black locks (mixed in underneath the top layer, in case you don’t live the results). If you do try this product, please post details and photos of your results, to help others with similar questions. Wishing you the best!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best at covering my stubborn gray hair
*by A***A on 28 April 2020*

I have been coloring my hair since I was in my 20’s. I am now 52. I started out coloring my hair for fun. As I got older, gray hair quickly took over. I now color my hair because I HAVE to. I have tried almost every boxed dye and salon grade hair dye, I’ve purchased and used additives that were supposed to help cover my stubborn grays but didn’t. I’ve paid a lot of money in salon visits to keep those grays from shining through (I’m a brunette so they are easily visible) I’ve switched hair dressers in the past because I thought they weren’t doing a good job because I was leaving the salon with the gray hair above my ears still showing through. I assumed they weren’t doing a well enough job, After my 3rd hairdresser I came to the realization I have stubborn resistant gray hair. It wasn’t the hairstyles fault. I had to accept that I would need to be making salon visits every 4 weeks. Then quarantine happened, I was forced to have to color my own hair! I was searching Amazon reviews for a hair dye formulated to cover stubborn gray hair. I came across this brand and after reading the reviews, I thought I should give it a try. I have now used this product twice and it’s the best hair color I have ever used! I left the dye on my gray roots for 15 minutes and the last 5 minutes, I blended the remaining dye throughout my hair. My grays are covered and my highlights are still in tact,. The color is soft and not harsh. It covers my stubborn gray . The consistency is thick making it easy to apply . My only reason for not giving it a 5 star review. The smell. It’s horrible. You don’t notice the smell after a few minutes of using it and your hair doesn’t smell after using. I will definitely be purchasing again. This dye lasts longer and doesn’t fade as I have experienced with both professional and boxed hair dye.
