Would I be able to wear it on my back on an 8 hour Hike without worrying about it falling apart?** A: Even with the backpack straps as tight as you could get them, it would hang down to you knees and have a back breaking weight. **Q: Any suggestions for a bug out bag for hiking long distances? I do like the size of this bag.** A: Personally, I would say this is way too big to pack loaded over a long distances. I was taught to assimilate all of my bug out essentials into one pile, and THEN buy a bag sized to your load. The lighter pack weight the better. I am partial to Voodoo Tactical. A Matrix or Level III ASsault bag fits pretty good as a bug out bag. I use the mojo for my camp kitchen bag, and loaded light it is about thirty pounds, not a weight that I would want to lug too far. Just my view. Maybe a bag 25L or smaller is good for a bug out bag or even an EDC. **Q: Can you secure any or all the departments with a lock ?** A: You can use a wire combination lock with the side pockets. This bag can EASILY fit 2 or 3 outfits with shoes for a weekend getaway, camping or fishing trip with even room to spare. The only drawback is that you will always overpack it & it easily becomes heavy. It is sturdy & made with high quality material. All the rings are metal & the side release buckles are excellent quality & it has pockets galore. All the straps are adjustable & the backpack straps make it easy to carry even when it’s heavy. This bag is worth every penny. It comes with removable shoulder straps for a backpack carry as well.There are two good video reviews you'll find on YouTube about this bag. "Opspec" does a great job at showing the bags features. (Search youtube opspec voodoo tactical mojo load out bag)The bag came fairly quick from the seller. It shipped from Florida to the Rocky Mountains. It was shipped through FedEx Ground and took four days for delivery. It was shipped the following day and a tracking number was provided from the seller. The bag is not too much bigger than the "mini mojo load out bag" that voodoo tactical offers. You may as well go with the bigger bag.$100 is about the going price for this bag. There is one other website (copsplus) that will offer it for 80, however do not go through them, it will take over a month to ship and your money's tied up while you wait... Researched several bags before pulling the trigger on this dude. If your looking for that bag you can get all your gear in plus some extras, this is it. Voodoo has come along way with quality also. Now that being said remember all things break eventually, and honestly as much as this bag holds im not sure any company could build a bag strong enough to carry what this thing can hold. What I like the most is the compartmentalization. Its always more high speed to have things separated so you know rite where it is which makes you operate smoother. Heres a load out run down so you get an idea of the capabilities. 2 pairs bdu's, shoes, extra socks, base layers etc, jacket, ballistics vest, chest rig, shoulder, knee pads, mess of pouches, 10+ ar mags, 10+ pistol mags, bug out gear (includes food,medical, etc), ammo (.40, 5.56, 12 ga, just enough to get by), and last but not least a standard configuration m4 (sits nicely at angle). All this and theres a ton of room left. I listed these things because when i was researching bags I would of loved an actual load out list of what could fit.
