Since 1981, Valterra Products, LLC, has been a leading supplier of brand name product lines to the RV, Pool & Spa, and Plumbing industries. Review: Great Product, Should Be As Reliable As The Original - Looks good, like original, smooth action. The fun part was installing it, due to the trailer, not the product. They must have built the tanks, etc. around the valves. First, had to open up the coroplast bottom. Then pull the 2 valves, with piping, out. One valve reinstall was no problem, plenty of play in the system. The second was so tight I could not get it in. I had to use two opposite spaced bolts and nuts to pry the flanges apart, without breaking anything. Then when I tried to get the valve and seals in, the seals would not go in without buckling. A piece of folded wax paper was used to hold the seals in place. Push in carefully, pull the wax paper out, release the nuts and keep rotating the valve to make sure the seals were in place. Finally, temporary bolts released, bolts installed properly and nuts tightened. Leak test, all is good. What should have ben a 30 minute job was a 2 hour job due to the trailer design.
