These are coming from customers KZ ZST - crystal clear highs and centered mids for a bass-oriented IEM. Nice tight bass, smooth (not dull) mids, and clear highs. Very good sound stage. What a wonderful balance with a very present but controlled low end and perfect clarity without being shrill. It is very nicely balanced with good clean bass, smooth midrange, and satisfyingly bright highs (without being harsh at all). By the way, the bass is not overpowering at all: it's just natural. But on tracks with heavier bass, or when boosted with an EQ, the ZSTs handle it with aplomb. There are many factors that shape the final sound an IEM delivers to one's ear. Those factors include 1 - Shape and size of the reviewer's ear canals.
