The adhesive is not the strongest in the world. I will not deny that, but it allows you to make mistakes and be able to correct them and if it was any stronger, I’d probably peel off the paint so I don’t see why people are complaining about that the color is exactly as pictured. I can’t remember. I think I may have just gotten in the gray or dark, gray or something, and it looks a little darker in the picture because of the paint color. There was no smell. I don’t know about the durability, but I did get 18 safely packed in plastic wrapped up safe and it took about 15 minutes. Is it going to be more effective?** A: Green glue is not an adhesive, but a layer of soundproofing. It "cures" but never fully dries, and is meant to go between two hard surfaces, not soft. In hindsight, I should have chosen square panels for my project. ### ⭐ May help deaden some lower range sound, but does nothing for higher range *by M***W on December 17, 2024* After buying and installing 56 of these, I thought the tv noise from the living room had been reduced a bit, but when someone answered the phone I didn't notice any difference at all, could still hear them talking two rooms over. So I watched some YouTube videos, and it turns out that sound can even travel through cracks, so having that open archway defeats these panels completely. I would have been better off putting up some moving blankets over the doors and archway than lining the walls and doors with this stuff. Would have saved about $100 too. I haven't had any issue with the adhesive sticking, in fact removing them from the wall feels risky, but the few I moved from one door to another didn't peel any paint off. They look nice, so I guess I'll keep them up.
