Are they the same machine?** A: This is what my research on the 3 different machines has turned up:The 4423 - 1) Automatic Pressure Foot control, 2) 5mm stitch width, and 3) it has 23 different stitch selections.The 4432 - 1) Manual Pressure Foot control, 2) 6mm stitch width, and 3) it has 32 different stitch selections.The 5532 - 1) Automatic Pressure Foot control, 2) 5mm stitch width, and 3) it has 32 different stitch selections.So, the 4432 is cheaper than the 4423, because of the lack of Auto Pressure Foot control. Even though you get more stitch choices.Conversely, the 5532 is the most expensive, because it gives you Auto Pressure Foot control and 32 different stitch choices. If you are willing to put up with manually adjusting the Pressure Foot on the 4432 every time you change fabric thickness, then Singer gives you an additional 1MM of stitch width (6mm rather than 5mm) and a lower price.I hope this helps you make your best selection. **Q: stupid question but is the foot pedal included** A: Absolutely. It has been ebtremely durable and well powered. Doubling over the bottom of jeans wasn't a big deal for it, so i would think it would, I just don't know for sure.
