I fell and scraped my knee really badly and I rubbed this oil on it (in conjunction with regular wound care) and saw the wound heal up faster. It says "Do not use on open wound" but I totally did. If you didn't want to, it also is good for massing onto healed wounds to prevent scarring. Another good use - rubbing on my nails after ripping off shellac!
