I received the items (3 in a box) and 1 of the units had an issue with the microphone - the sound was all muffled and quiet and you couldn't understand the person on the other end. I contacted the company from the contact info in the box (very easy to find). I got a response from them within 30 minutes. After explaining my issue, I had a replacement in my hands within 48 hours from sending that first email. Now they all work GREAT! I have them between 3 floors in my house. Not a huge distance but there are walls and floors in the way. Very easy to setup and comes complete with everything you need. Plus good instructions on how to setup and use. AMAZING customer service! Rarely have I seen such great customer service. This is what gets them the 5 star rating more than anything else. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a reasonably priced 3 way intercom system for shorter distances (less than half a mile). The distance is 150 ft.** A: We have several intercomes all over our house and several in our workshop. The distance from our house to the workshop is about 50 feet or so. The voice comes in Clear but you might want to contact the company to see about the distance of 150 feet. **Q: In vox mode do you constantly hear everything from the other room? or can you say "call room a" to be connected with a certain room as needed.** A: Hi, Thank you for your attention for Wuloo wireless intercom system. If you want to constantly hear everything from the other room, you just need to set your devices with the same channel code as other station and press VOX button on the device you want to hear from instead of your unit. And you can also answer he/she by pressing and holding the TALK button on your device when you receive the information. And we are sorry for that it cannot be achieved when you say "call room a" to be connected with a certain room as needed. When you want to call the station from the other room, you need to change the channel code the same as the other station manually, and you need to press and hold TALK button to talk. But it is a good idea, thank you for you advice. If you just want the MONITOR feature, we recommend that you can use the MONITOR button, because VOX mode goes into standby mode when it doesn't detect any operation within 1 minute so that it can't send voice information automatically unless you speak close to the microphone.
