Just get rid if the wireless modern unit?** A: We have the wall mount phone and I know that my husband changed out the phone jack/wall jack, but I believe it had to do with the way the wall mounted phone mounted to the wall. The phone we bought just uses a regular old telephone cable to connect the phone to the wall jack.
