Review: Like for like replacement. - Bought this to swap in for the exact same model of expansion vessel which had lasted 15 years but finally suffered a bladder failure. The swap was straight forward and the fixing bracket on this was identical to the in-place fixing bracket so no significant fiddling about was required to mount the new expansion vessel. It was pre-charged to 1.5bar, which was confirmed during fitting. Painless job to fit, and hopefully good for another decade and a half.

Bought this to swap in for the exact same model of expansion vessel which had lasted 15 years but finally suffered a bladder failure. The swap was straight forward and the fixing bracket on this was identical to the in-place fixing bracket so no significant fiddling about was required to mount the new expansion vessel. Liked most things about this kit, good quality tank and accessories mostly look well made. Docked it one star for the poor fixing kit. The bracket chewed into the red paint coating and chipped it. The screws are nearly impossible to access when the bracket is attached to the wall. The screws also chipped the red coating. Ended up putting a steel band around that is screwed to the wall to hold it all in place. Ignoring the fixing, this is still a good product and I'd still recommend at this price.
