They arrived in a sealed plastic bag with some sawdust-looking material, and I honestly thought they might be too dry or damaged to survive. Life got busy, so I didn’t get a chance to plant them until four days later—and I was worried that I had waited too long. But wow, was I wrong! After planting them and following a heavy rainstorm, I was amazed to see visible sprouts within 24 hours! These hostas clearly have a strong root system and are incredibly resilient. I’m beyond happy with this purchase and will definitely be ordering more in the future. Highly recommend!

In the 5th did I saw my hostas and they are healthy and growing strong. I will say it is not a variety pack. They are all the same but I’m ok with that. They did arrive well packaged, moisturized and health. Mine are all solid green as of right now…maybe some will produce white and green leaf but either way I am not disappointed with this order.

**Q: How many were duplicates, in other words, from the quantity you bought how many were doubles or more? Thanks in advance :-)**
A: There are more yellow/green variegated varieties than anything else. A few all green and a few green and white but of the pack I'd say 40% had yellow 20% have all green 10% have white. The rest are still to small to determine

**Q: Can they grow under pine trees?**
A: I think so as long as they get water. I am no gardener, but I find hostas grow basically everywhere except the burning hot sun.

**Q: Do these good to grow in zone 9 ?**
A: From Google:  Zone: Hostas are winter hardy in zones 3-9. When to Plant: Hostas settle in quickly when they are planted in early spring. Moist soil and relatively cool temperatures encourage strong root growth.

**Q: What types of hostas did anyone get (large? Small?)?**
A: The plants were larger than I expected when they srrived( 3-5) inches, they grew rapidly after planting . The second year they have grown to 10-12 inches across.

I am floored by these. Not only did I get more than i ordered. They were all in amazing condition when they arrived. Great roots, most had growth but not too much. Planted immediately and now 3 days later all have more than doubled in size. Only critique I have is that I wish they sent some basic planting instructions since the leaves weren’t always growing the logical direction from the roots and should they be a bit above ground or no…. Hope my Brown thumb doesn’t strike again.
