**Q: Can it do smooth turns? is this even a viable replacement for true baseplates? how do the larger creator city sets connect?**
A: These are 90 degree turns so perpendicular and fits 6 wide cars not the speed champion 8 wide cars (barely fits) - they look real nice especially if you get the town buildings that have the built in road plates hope that helps
