The tops looked like they would be too high, and the shape of them didn't look like they would be comfortable. I decided to try wearing them anyway if for no other reason than to confirm that I didn't like them. As it turns out, the length of the socks is totally comfortable and doesn't make lines on my legs. They are cushioned on the soles of the socks which adds to the comfort and they are actually warmer than I thought they would be. The comfort alone makes them a great value for the money. I can't attest to the durability as I haven't had them for very long, but will update this review if my opinion changes. UPDATE 12/23/25: I have been wearing these socks for about a month and have washed them a couple of times. After washing, they scrunch up a bit and don't fold flat, but they are still very comfortable. I like them well enough that I bought another set in different colors.
