## Description

desertcart.com: BALIBETOV Argentine Yerba Mate Gourd Set – Natural Calabash Cup & Bombilla : Grocery & Gourmet Food

## Features

- GENUINE NATURAL CALABASH GOURD – Made from a real, dried calabash squash, not ceramic or stainless steel. Each natural mate gourd has its own unique shape, color, and interior texture, so no two pieces are exactly alike. The natural inner pith is normal and part of the traditional calabash experience.
- CURE BEFORE FIRST USE – Prepare your natural gourd before enjoying your first mate. Fill it with used yerba mate and hot water, let it rest for 24 hours, gently scrape away loosened inner material, and allow it to dry completely. Proper curing helps prepare the gourd for use and may reduce the risk of cracking or leaking.
- TRADITIONAL 7 FL OZ CAPACITY – Compact and comfortable to hold, this traditional-sized mate cup is designed for the South American mate ritual. Fill it with loose yerba mate and add hot water for repeated refills, just as mate is traditionally enjoyed in Argentina and Uruguay. Its compact size is intentional and differs from a standard coffee mug.
- STAINLESS STEEL BOMBILLA INCLUDED – Enjoy a traditional mate-drinking experience with the included stainless steel bombilla, a reusable filter straw designed to separate yerba leaves from the liquid as you sip. The set includes 1 natural calabash gourd and 1 stainless steel bombilla. Yerba mate is sold separately.
- A THOUGHTFUL GIFT FOR MATE LOVERS – An excellent choice for beginners exploring yerba mate and experienced drinkers who appreciate traditional accessories. Ideal for enjoying mate at home or at the office, this set makes a thoughtful gift for anyone interested in Argentine traditions and South American tea culture. Hand wash only and dry thoroughly after use.
