Not very glossy. Mine had several tiny air bubbles in the paint. I still like them, they're cute but the paint job could be alot better than it is. **Q: Can these be painted?** A: I don’t see why not. Just use spray paint for ceramic and voilΓ  **Q: Is this a 6 pc planters and 6 bamboo trays?** A: Yes, 6 planters and 6 bamboo trays. So 12 pieces altogether. I will say that the bamboo trays do warp a bit from water, but I've just started using them as coasters now. Lol. I just got back into houseplants after forever, and I bought succulents in their plastic containers. I really needed them to fit on my kitchen windowsill, and I liked the bright white. In transplanting, I added just a bit of succulent soil and roughed the roots a little before planting. These give just a little more room for the plants to grow, and they look so cute, with each having just a small difference in design. I definitely would buy them again. As it was, a friend liked how my succulents looked on the windowsill, and I offered them to him. He liked the white pots, but knowing his decor in his home, I did get new different containers for him.
