I read to her before bedtime and she is the one who asks me to continue this story. I follow it too and it is very appealing, because the plot is about kids who have adventures with dragons. Who wouldn't want to be them? I saw a review here about some plot points that seem difficult, but it's on purpose because it's part of the story. In my opinion, by this age (6-8) kids start making their own decisions. Some difficult situations actually let the kids make up their own mind about what they read. Some things in life are hard and some people are not what they seem. It's important that they see kids overcoming the hardships, helping each other and telling the friends from the foes.
