It has helped him thus far to work with something in his hand when he draws his letters and numbers better preparing him for writing letters on a sheet of paper. The quality of the stylus is pretty good, its a bit thicker then a regular crayon, which is a nice fit for our little ones hands in helping him hold it while he writes. The only thing we wish was improved is the tip.
