Review: Just Ok, not a premium Norton stone - Ok stone for occasional use, but not a high quality like Norton stones. Very friable, wears quickly. Ok if you just have a few plane blades to reshape, but nothing you could use extensively.
Review: ＃400で荒砥の番手ですが、思ったよりなめらかで、研ぎやすいです。 それでいて、良く研げるので、助かっています。 これで研いだ後すぐ＃2000番や、＃5000番に行くこともあり他の荒砥や、 ＃1000の中砥の出番が減っています。 出来たら、もう少し値段は高くなってもよいので、砥石の厚さを増やしてもらえればと思います。

Ok stone for occasional use, but not a high quality like Norton stones. Very friable, wears quickly. Ok if you just have a few plane blades to reshape, but nothing you could use extensively.
