My bag had a shipping sticker covering the directions.** A: According to the label, for general purpose application, 2-4 lbs per 100 gallons. So that would be about 32 - 64 oz per 100 gallons or .32 - .64 oz per gallon. Since a tablespoon is about .5 (or half) oz than a tablespoon per gallon should be about right. **Q: Can I use this on my lawn also can I put it in a spreader instead of mixing it with water** A: This may be a bit more expensive than normal fertilizer, but not by much. Scotts Turf Builder is about the same N-P-K mixture as this and it is $40-$45 for enough to cover 15,000 sq. feet of yard. The fact that I can dissolve this into my 50 gallon tank and spray with my 12 volt 7.5 gallon per minute pump makes this so much easier to apply for me than a spreader. I don't have to go back and water this in, then move the sprinklers and water the next section and the next using hundreds or thousands of gallons of water - I can do this all with 50-75 gallons of water easily. Since this is a liquid form it can be absorbed directly through the grass blades and any that reaches the ground will wash down to the roots. Normal "Weed & Feed" does OK, but the weed killers are generic and work great on some types of weeds, and not at all on other types, so what I do is look up the active ingredients in these weed killers on these various brands of weed & feed, see which work best for the types of weeds I have, buy the professional grade weed killers for my weeds that can be mixed with water from DoMyOwn, mix it all together and I have a fast acting and much more effective "Weed & Feed", and I don't have to worry about these piece of crap lawn spreaders. OK, I spray these separately because I add a surfactant to my weed killers so it "clings" to the weeds better for a more effective application. My Scotts lawn spreader was designed by an idiot so I only use it when I absolutely have to. The outside of the wheels are smooth and won't catch anything, but the insides are hollow and catch and hold weed & feed and collect it, and then dump it in little rows nuking little strips of my grass. If they had flipped the wheels the opposite way, it may not look as nice, but it would be much more effective and safer for my lawn, and personally, I'd rather have an effective lawn spreader than one that is aesthetically pleasing to look at. Water soluble may not be a 1 size fits all solution, but if you have the equipment to take advantage of it, it's a great solution and worth a few extra bucks in my book. **Q: is this good for orchid?** A: Yes it it works great on orchids **Q: Can this be used with a hose type sprayer?** A: I don't know the mixture ratio, but it works just the same way as miracle grow. It is completely soluble and bluish in color. I use this in a whole yard system, I use 30-10-10 early in the spring then switch to 10-10-10 later.
