The measurements provided in the description are accurate; however, the photo showing the person holding the journal is not accurate - the journal is much smaller. When I ordered I did so based on that photo and failed to see the actual measurements so I was a little surpsied when I received it. I actually bought it for my 4 year old to use as a "journal" to help her through her father's and my divorce. Turns out she didn't care about the size because.... Purple and princess! Can't go wrong with that combination. The cover is very soft and good quality.
