I wish I had discovered them before when I tiled the bathroom floor. I highly recommend these clips. They are very easy to use and get rid of the challenge of setting tiles flat relative to one another. Other reviewers say that they broke a lot of the clips. I didn't have any break on me. I think one thing that helps is to use a rubber mallet to get two adjacent tiles close to level with each other before pinching the clips closed. I inserted them immediately after setting the tile. If I left the project for awhile, I would insert the clips under the last tile and then clean off any mortar where the next tile would go later. It was very satisfying to pinch the clip down, feel it "settle" and see that there was no lippage between tiles. The job goes a lot faster if you don't have to keep checking for level. You can trust the clips. I used a rubber mallet to break them off after the mortar had set and that was fast, easy and fun. I tiled my shower with 6x18 tiles and there is no way it could have come out any better without these things! You have to watch some youtube videos to get it right, back butter your tiles and make sure your mortar isnt too thick. A little pricey but well worth the perfect results! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars I'm an experianced DIY, and this is the first time installing 12x24 tile *by F***L on Reviewed in the United States on November 5, 2016* Expensive but worth it, I had ~ 5 out of 150 break off as I was tightening them, all in the first 2 rows, I think at first the tile was too high and the clips couldn't apply enough pressure to make up the diff, after that I made sure the tile was reasonably close to the same height as the other tiles i had no more breaking of the clips.It's a good system and quick, but if your tile is severely warped and you are laying a brick pattern (which your not supposed to do with large format tile because of tenancy for the tile to warp during the kiln process) these cant put enough pressure to flatten the warp some (the wedge systems using their tool may be able to help more, but they are also slower and require a tool to compress the clips enough but thats from what i read i haven't used them myself.I found that using these clips were very fast that it was a real pleasure. When its time to remove them they always break off very easily with nothing left to show. Also they are very thin so it doesn't add much to the tile spacing.
