I saww this and decided to get one to see if it would help. Not only does it work well, but he actually likes it! At one point he rolled over on his tummy and let me groom all the mats and fur! Amazing. I was also stunned at the amount of fur that came out - considering i do brush him and have another comb that i use regularly. See the ball of fur in one of the photos. He still has his 'mane' though so it didn't pull out too much. Since it is high summer here and hot, he seems more comfortable as well. I like that the tool has two sides - one for dealing with mats in his fur, and the other for pulling out the loose undercoat. I got the small size which is perfect for cats and easy to hold. I did notice that grooming him produced a lot of static and the fur clings to everything! I think that is a factor of the dry summer weather and the grooming action, not so much the tool itself.
