Most of these are sold as an additional carryon. I didn't want that. I wanted something that could be pack into my checked bag. The TRIFOLD design was important. At least one other so-called "Trifold" didn't trifold at all - it folded in half. And never would have fit inside the luggage. This one is perfect Review: No good for preventing wrinkles during air travel - I purchased this intending to use it as a garment sleeve in my 22 in carry on (which really has an 18.5 inch interior) to hold a wool suit during a series of interviews. I didn't heed the advice of previous reviewers who mentioned it is not wide enough to hold a suit jacket flat (and therefore failed to prevent wrinkling) because I am a petite woman and figured the size would be just right for my frame and my for my small suitcase. The first (and only) time I used it, I packed it very carefully with tissue paper at the creases and placed it at the top of my carry on several hours before my flight. When I arrived at my hotel and unpacked, my suit was extremely wrinkled. In comparison to my previous packing method (turning the shoulders inside out before lightly folding and placing it in a large ziploc bag with a bit of air), this result was disappointing. To be fair, this was after 10+ hours of traveling, but I still expected this bag to work better than the ziploc, and it was stressful to attempt to get the wrinkles out right before an important interview.
