So if these are an authentic NOW Foods product then why does seller claim Chinese origin? **Q: Is there gelatin in these?** A: just ordered more yesterday! no this is a vegetarian product and I do my best to buy all my vitamins that way.it is a green tablet- lightly coated so it does not get stuck in your throat. tablets are round. you should be able to magnify the image shown and see details that it is cruelty free. Good luck if you try this product! I find I need less of this brand than another brand I was using - so I save money by buying NOW BRAND and the amount of times I have to re-order is less frequent! Bottom of image on bottle says: vegetarian. Happy new year :-) my keyboard is acting up so excuse the typos etc.... **Q: How many grams are in one cap?** A: Well, they are 500 mg tablets, so that's .5 (a half) gram. Hope that's helpful! :) **Q: Is one tablet 500mg. Most say 4 to 6 tablets is 500mg** A: Thank you for your question. This is indeed 500 mg PER tablet of Organic Chlorella (Broken Cell Wall). There is 3,000 mg of Chlorella per 6 tablet daily serving. We hope this information helps. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Immune correction *by on Reviewed in India 14 August 2018* I was a chronic smoker. Now foods certified chlorella helped me to reverse lungs damage in a short time.Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best purchase I did *by on Reviewed in Singapore 18 January 2023* This is a lifesaver. Reduced my fartings by 100 percent take six tablets and it does also reducesy coughing but double the dosage ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works! But kidney issues *by on Reviewed in the United States 12 September 2026* Can't take for more than a few days at a time as I start to feel pain in my kidneys but boy does it control body odor wonderfully, I wish I could take it every day forever! Discontinuation solved the issue but my kidneys are unusually sensitive I think, even 1000mg doseage of vitamin C (ascorbic acid supplement) daily makes them start to ache after a handful of days. Your experience may vary. I save the chlorella for special occasions (weddings, conferences etc) and start it a few days prio then discontinue immediately afterwards ## Frequently Bought Together - NOW Foods Supplements, Organic Chlorella 500 mg with naturally occurring Chlorophyll, Beta-Carotene, mixed Carotenoids, Vitamin C, Iron and Protein, 200 Tablets - NOW Foods Supplements, Certified Organic, Spirulina 1000 mg (Double Strength), Rich in Beta-Carotene (Vitamin A) and B-12 with naturally occurring GLA , 120 Tablets --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/268601777-foods-organic-chlorella-500-mg-green-superfood-with-chlorophyll-phytonutrients](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/268601777-foods-organic-chlorella-500-mg-green-superfood-with-chlorophyll-phytonutrients) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
