It's pretty handy and light weight. The strap has a clip on so you can switch back and forth for right-handedness or left-handedness. The phone pocket does not fit my iPhone 6 plus due to my case however it fits my husband's phone just fine. This won't work for a backpack for school. But for a daypack/overnight bag for trips to stay at friends' houses, it's just fine. The strap is comfortable, and easy to make shorter or longer depending on the size of the person wearing it. Put it on my small size 12 year old, and it fit him comfortably. Also it feels really thin, so I'm not quite sure the strength of the fabric yet. My kiddo has only ever put clothes in it so far. Overall, nice bag. I have a baby and used to use a regular backpack but every time I needed anything it was such a pain to get it off a shoulder and in front of me to access the pockets while carrying my little guy. My husband got me this backpack for Christmas and so far I am LOVING it. The storage pocket isn't huge.. which for me I like.. and it does have a spot for a water bottle.
